6月8日，香港艺人梁朝伟在法国驻港领事官邸接受法国驻港澳总领事柏雅诺颁发的“法国艺术与文学军官勋章”，成为首位获得该勋章的华人男演员。柏雅诺称，梁朝伟多年来凭借独树一帜的表演风格与个人魅力赢得法国观众喜爱，不仅对中法文化交流贡献良多，更对华人演员的海外影响力有积极的推动意义。
法国艺术及文学勋章1957年由法国文化和通讯部设立，用于表彰全世界在艺术或文学领域享受盛誉，或对弘扬法国和世界文化作出特殊成绩和杰出贡献的法国人及外国人，是法国4种部级荣誉勋章之一，也是法国政府授予文学艺术界的最高荣誉。勋章的丝带绿色配有四条白间条，分为三个等级，包括“司令勋位”、“军官勋位”及“骑士勋位”。目前已经有超过50位华人获得法国艺术与文学勋章。
仪式上，梁朝伟对法国政府授勋表示荣幸及感谢，声称：“我曾在戛纳获奖，也喜欢法国的电影及艺术文化，我觉得自己与法国很有缘分，未来我将继续演出更多优秀的电影来回馈观众。我很荣幸获得这枚荣誉勋章，感谢我的太太刘嘉玲小姐、我的家人、王家卫先生及整个泽东艺人经理人团队的同事们，很开心大家今天在一起共同见证这一刻！”随后在接受访问时，他表示：“觉得好开心和荣幸，电影不是一个人的，这个奖是对我以往拍过的香港电影作出肯定。”
Tony Leung Receives Top France Honor
Tony Leung has received a top honor from France at a ceremony in Hong Kong on Monday.
The 52 year old actor was made an 'Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters' by the Consul General of France.
Leung was accompanied at the ceremony by his actress wife Carina Lau.

Tony Leung began his career at a local television station in the early 1980s. After starring in a hit TV drama, his popularity soared and he began to act for the big screen.
He is better known for his collaboration with director Wong Kar-wai in classics such as 'Ashes of Time'and 'Chungking Express'.
After accepting his medal, Leung said that he wanted to share his honor with his family and all those who worked with him on his films.
"I don't think that this honor belongs only to me, I think this honor should be shared with all those who have worked with me in films for the last 30 years."
The actor said he will be celebrating with a party.
